The government has approved a budget of approximately 259 million shekels for the Tekuma Authority to fund accelerated economic development and upgrade energy, water, and sewage infrastructure in the region.
The budget will be disbursed over two years, during 2026 and 2027, and will support the strategic plan to double the region’s population by 2033.
