Huckabee on Iran
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee issued a sharp warning about Iran after the regime’s missile attack on Israel.
Huckabee called Iran the “mothership of Satan,” using unusually direct language to describe the regime behind the latest escalation.
The comment came as Iran continued to threaten Israel and fuel terror across the region through its proxy network.
Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor and longtime supporter of Israel, serves as the U.S. ambassador in Jerusalem. His appointment was widely seen as a strong signal of support for the Jewish state. The U.S. Senate confirmed him as ambassador in 2025, and the Associated Press described him as a “staunch supporter of Israel.”
Iran Behind the Fire
Iran’s missile attack on Israel did not happen in isolation.
For years, Tehran has built a regional terror network around Israel. It arms, funds, and directs proxy forces that threaten Israeli civilians from multiple fronts, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, and armed militias in Syria and Iraq.

That is why Huckabee’s statement matters.
He was not only reacting to one missile barrage. He was pointing to the central source behind much of the violence aimed at Israel.
The Iranian regime calls for Israel’s destruction, supports terror proxies, and then presents itself as the victim when Israel acts to defend its people.
Standing With Israel
Huckabee has repeatedly positioned himself as a clear voice of support for Israel during a period of war, pressure, and international criticism. He also appeared at Tel Aviv University’s 2026 conference as U.S. ambassador to Israel.
His latest comment reflects a broader message: western countries must understand who is driving the violence.
Israel is not fighting disconnected enemies. It is facing an extremist Islamic regime that exports terror, arms proxies, and turns the Middle East into a battlefield.
Huckabee’s words were blunt. Yet, for many Israelis, they captured the reality clearly.
Iran is not only a threat to Israel. It is the engine behind a regional war against the only Jewish state.
